Your licence key is emailed to you the moment the order completes, along with a link to register it. Register the licence in the 4D Audio Licensing Portal, then download the installer for your operating system from My Library. Delivery is usually instant, so if the email hasn’t arrived within a few minutes, check your spam folder.

Download the installer for your operating system from the Portal and run it. On Windows you get VST3 and AAX; on Mac you get VST3, AU and AAX, for both Apple Silicon and Intel. Restart your DAW afterwards and rescan your plugins if it doesn’t appear straight away.

Two places. The installer on the product page is always the current version, free to download, and becomes the full plugin as soon as you enter your licence key. Or sign in to the 4D Audio Licensing Portal and open My Library, where every product you’ve registered stays available. You never need to contact us for a reinstall.

To see your available activations, register your licence in the 4D Audio Licensing Portal, then open My Library and select the product: it shows that plugin’s activation limit and the machines currently using it. Deactivate a machine when you replace it to free the slot.

Yes. There is a full 7-day free trial of the complete plugin, with no feature restrictions and no card required. It converts to the full version as soon as you enter a licence key.

4D Audio plugins run as VST3, AU and AAX in Cubase, Nuendo, Logic, Pro Tools, Reaper, Studio One and Ableton.

Rescan your plugin folders and confirm your DAW is looking in the standard VST3/AU/AAX locations. On Mac, AU plugins can need a DAW restart before they’re picked up. If it still doesn’t appear, contact us and tell us your OS, DAW and version.

Orders, receipts and payment are handled by Shopify, not by the Licensing Portal. Your receipt is emailed at the time of purchase. The Portal holds your licences and downloads; the store holds your purchase history. They are two different systems.

All sales are final. Because these are digital products, we don’t offer refunds once a purchase is complete. A free trial of the full plugin is available so you can be certain it works for you before you buy. The full position is on the Policies page.

No. It’s designed to work alongside the noise gates in amp sims, not to replace them. You should be able to set those gates much more conservatively afterwards, for a more natural result.
